Being Vigilant | Benjamin Roder

Writer's picture: shsimagesshsimages

In the bustling streets, where life's stories unfold,

A keen eye may glimpse what others fail to behold.

A smile that falters, eyes filled with sorrow,

A subtle hint of pain, hidden by tomorrow.

In passing glances, a flicker in their gaze,

A silent plea for help, in a world ablaze.

The weight they carry, unseen by the crowd,

A burden they bear, amidst the noise so loud.

A gentle touch, a comforting embrace,

Can mend the unseen wounds, with love and grace.

For in the depths of empathy, we find,

The power to heal, the unseen, unbind.

So let us be vigilant, in our daily stride,

To notice the unseen, where hearts may hide.

A kind word, a listening ear, can make a difference,

To those silently battling, in their own existence.

For in the unseen struggles, lies a chance,

To offer solace, and restore their balance.

In the simple act of noticing, we find,

The power to heal, and leave no heart behind.
