The Beast | Kartika Mohta (11)

Writer's picture: shsimagesshsimages

She was perfect

An angel sent from heaven

The most rare jewel found…

Everything she touched turned to gold

She was a women made from the colors of the sunset

But with every beauty, there's a beast

A crippled beast

shattered at birth

Grown to pick up the pieces

one

by

one

alone

A beast

Who “had potential” but was worthless

Who “never talked” but was shot down at every breathe

Who “was beautiful” but was as transparent as rain

How were they sisters?
