Places I Call Home | Evan Nathansan (11)

Writer's picture: shsimagesshsimages

A home is cozy

A home isn't lonely

The walls are wonderfully white

With lights so bright

A home that welcomes anyone who enters

A home that provides love from all it's members

That is a feeling of a home

But, that wasn't the only home i've ever known

My dads house hasn't always been cozy

My dads house hasn't always been welcoming

But, it's been rather lonely

Our relationship was awkward

Everytime I went to his house I became bothered

I was always expected to go

Yet, I always refused and said no

Until my dad was no longer alone

He met his very own

That's when his house became a home

And became the best home i've ever known
