Still Searching to be Found | Charvi Kora (9)

Writer's picture: shsimagesshsimages

It feels as though I’ve never felt who I was

Feeling like a tumbleweed

Rolling to a distant so difficult to see

Trying to avoid making mistakes

Without feeling like a person of disgrace

Even though I know there are ones

Ones who don’t accept those like me

Those like me who want to feel free

Those like me who want to be seen

And those like me who want to be different

But feel like it’s a struggle

When it’s expected to be accepted

It feels like as if the world is lost

Lost in a place full of thoughts

Thoughts that cloud the day and hide the light

Thoughts that “act” as the shining guide

But instead there are ones like me,

With thoughts that’ve changed eternity

Thoughts that brighten up the room

But blind the eyes of ones

Who can’t accept the fact that the world is new

It feels like as if it was set to be

Set to be so spotlessly clean

Instead was never known that there's something beyond

But can only be found when it's all done and gone

In contrary to the beliefs of many

Many who want to be so perfectly friendly

But don’t notice that there’s a realm beyond

A realm that’s acceptive of those whom are

The ones like me who want to be found

Even though we are known to be unorthodox
