If we were all the same

Wouldn’t life just be a little lame

If of 8 billion, all who take the human name

Were cut from each, the same frame?

If everyone were taken by the same compulsion

Wanting each of the same possession

Spoke each with the exact same inflection

Where would there be any innovation?

For isn’t every person a little unorthodox

Unique in the way each walks and talks

Everyone dances to their own inner jukebox

And if everyone were so orthodox

Wouldn’t we all just be a bunch of robots?

For norms are not laws for me and you

And every person their own path to pursue

To each their own unique view

From our own human nature this all does ensue

So like, you do you, hardy har har, electric boogaloo XD

For to be human is to be, even just a little,

unorthodox.
