It is uncommon to see one who has vastly changed

Often, we see those as ones who are deranged

However, the process of change and transformation

Is often the one that brings the most elation

Once a man of low self-esteem

Now has confidence that is extreme

Once a woman who was thought of as depressed

Now looks at her self and thinks she is blessed

In life, a single event may be enough

To look in the mirror and say that you’re tough

The reasons of which are often unknown

The changes are the only parts that are shown

These changes are often seen as crazy

But maybe it is you whose mind is hazy

It is not magic that is in the change

But in the circumstances which are strange

These changes are often uncalled for

But our side of their story lacks a lot more

Many resist such instantaneous modification

Yet it’s only a result of life’s causation

Change is a fundamental part to be alive

So, why can’t you embrace it and thrive

For see, growing into yourself isn’t a sin

It’s the least one could do in life to win
