In a meadow bright and fair,
A caterpillar crawls with care.
It munches leaves, then spins a thread,
In a cocoon, it rests its head.
Days go by, the change is slow,
Inside the shell, new wings will grow.
From the chrysalis, it breaks free,
A butterfly for all to see.
In the sky, the clouds will form,
Changing shapes in a gentle storm,
From the puffs of white to darkened grey,
Then rain will wash the day away.
The sun will set, the sky will blaze,
Turning colors in a fiery daze.
From the day to night, the stars appear,
In the dark, you see a little butterfly near.
