Hi, I’m Mrs. Bush and I’ve been advising Images since 2004. I’m really impressed by my staff and all of their creative ideas for publishing student work. In my free time, I like to travel, to read (Ella Minnow Pea is my favorite book), and to enjoy the changing seasons. My undergraduate majors were English and English Education. My Masters was in Curriculum and Instruction.
Hey! I’m Sammy Jennings, a Senior at SHS and the Chief Editor of Images. This is my third year as a member. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, writing, singing, and being outdoors. My favorite subject in school is English and my favorite season is Fall. I am interested in attending university for International Affairs and Journalism Communications.
Hi! I’m Iris, a Co-Editor and junior here at Solon High School. This is my second year with Images—I’m a writer first and foremost, but I’m also interested in exploring the intersection between other mediums. My favorite word is “skyscraper” and my favorite fruit is a persimmon, and I love eating soup. I have work published or forthcoming in Vagabond City Lit, Sine Theta Magazine, and The Eunoia Review, among others. In my free time, I’ve been learning to crochet!
Hi! I’m Holly Hill, a Junior at Solon High School. This is my second year on the Images staff and I am a Co-Editor. I like to read, paint, listen to music, and explore Wikipedia rabbit-holes. I like language, so English and French are two of my favorite subjects at school, along with history and chemistry. I currently hope to either go into public health or engineering; my goal is to combat climate change and detrimental legislation.
Hi! My name is Suder Natesan and I am a junior. This is my first year at Images and I am very excited to experiment with different mediums of art. During my free time, I love to listen to music, read books, dance and contemplate life. During these periods of contemplation are when my creativity thoughts flow, allowing me to create free verse poems, small music compositions, and photographs. I believe that life should be captured within the mediums of art we produce, thus creating a snapshot of the creator’s perspective at that moment.
Hi! This is Sanjanasri Vedavyas- a Junior here at SHS. I’m a first year member here at Images and I’ve been on Lake Erie Ink’s Teen Editorial Board for over a year now. I’m a bit of English nerd, an ardent lover of science, and am in a committed relationship with cookie dough ice cream. In my free time, you may find me juggling three books, watching random science videos online, or unconsciously tapping out the choreo to my newest Bharathanatyam dance.
Hi! I’m Taryn Halley and I’m a freshman at Solon High School. This is my first year on the staff at Images. I’m a dancer, music composer as well as a cellist, so you can usually find me hunkered down in my room practicing my crafts when I’m not at school. My favorite subjects are Biology and World History so after high school I would definitely want to either go into Marine Biology or Political Science.
Hello! I’m Kristy Do and I’m a senior. This is my first year being part of the staff of Images. I like to draw digital arts, read books, and listen to music during my free time. My fingers are my main tool for art when I’m drawing digitally. My favorite subjects in school are science and math. After high school, I’m planning on majoring in biology and pre-medicine in college. Art will just remain as a hobby of mine to relieve my stress from time to time.
Heya! I’m Dylan Hirsh, a junior and first-time member of Images here at SHS. In my free time I enjoy painting, drawing, writing, listening to music, and gaming. My favorite subjects are those involving science; biology and chemistry are some of my personal favorites. After graduating from high school, I hope to go into the medical field, whether it be in pharmaceuticals or as a doctor. Writing, however, has and always will be a hobby of mine.
Hello! I’m Chinmayee Ramaswamy, a junior and first-time member of Images. I enjoy the fine arts (art, music, dance, etc.), reading, and gaming. My favorite subject in school is history, and I hope to go into the law field in the future. What better way to break down a corrupt system than to work from the enemy’s pocket? Although I do love the arts, it’s simply a hobby of mine at the moment and I don’t plan on going into it, but who knows?
Hi! I’m Audrey Lai and I’m a junior and a first-time member of Images. I love to write and draw, and my favorite subjects in school are English and history. In my free time, I enjoy reading funny memoirs, listening to music, bullet journaling, and watching sitcoms.
Hello! My name is Wendy Wu and I am a senior at SHS and a first-year staff member of IMAGES (although I have been submitting art and writing for the past three years). Besides school activities, I like to draw realistic characters and create fashion designs. I also play the violin and is a member of the school’s Sinfonia Orchestra. In the future, I plan to major in Computer science and participate in similar activities as IMAGES.
