A Child's Goodnight | Kevin Zhou

Goodnight moon, goodnight stars,

Goodnight roof, goodnight floor.

Goodnight standing iron bars,

Goodnight wardens by the door.

Goodnight dad, goodnight mom,

Goodnight walls of smooth gray stone.

Since you left me here alone.

It’s been weeks, it feels like years,

Sleeping far away from you.

No one hugs away my fear,

Why’d you leave? Where’d you go?

Won’t someone please just let me know?
