The school bell rang to start class
The teachers announced that all of the test scores had been a pass
It is the last day before summer
Everyone celebrated as the school year had been a real bummer
The seniors had mixed feelings, you see
On one hand, they were finally free
No longer having to listen to their mom and dad
No more school, another reason to be glad!
However, their childhood had officially come to an end
They would have to move and say goodbye to their friends
Move in to college where their days would not be so sunny
They would also need to find a good job to earn money
It was graduation day
The day where stress about school all goes away
For seniors, the day was bittersweet
They were free but now they have to learn to live on their own two feet
