a beautiful disaster | Adesh Labhasetwar

am i delusional

to think the world halted

nobody takes a breath

for fear of disturbing

a beautiful disaster

the earth needs a break

so it stops

the rumbles grow

and then cease

for months

everything was shaking

so how do i live

with stillness

every sound is sharper

every color is brighter

every smell is invading

so what part am

i living within

my beautiful disaster
